Sometimes we keep back a few of our puppies for evaluation or clients are unable to take possession of a puppy as expected. These pups still make exceptional pets and have the same potential as our other puppies to make excellent companions.
Slightly older puppies have a lot to offer and usually are not any less trainable, the older puppies are using paper and are in a community whelping pen (box).
Older pups are still building a foundation for going potty outside - but adapt quickly and are ready to think through the process with a longer attention span in some cases!
OLDER DOES NOT MEAN CHEAPER! Please do not think that an older puppy is automatically going to be less valuable, or cheap because it has not found the right home. They are still young and highly trainable and a valued member of our family.
